than than learns to rock

Nowadays than than moves a lot, he wobbles from one end to another end of the two merged king size beds. on top of that he loves to fly down from the mattress to the floor speedily. He is only 5 months old, we are worried that he would break his backbone.

He is sleeping now after working hard (not to close his eyes) since this morning, it is almost 12 midnight now. I thought insomnia happens only to grown-ups, but infant like him can also have this! Last night was worse, he woke up at 10 pm then started to move around until 3 am this morning. The poor papa and mama suffer so much, whenever we turned off the lights he would cry.

Any way, it is just part of growing pains that parents have to face. Just pray that he will grow up faster that we can endure.

papa's father's day gift

today is father's day. Guess what natnat gave to papa?
The loving papa drove us to the Scoops, then the papa ordered poor mama went down to buy a cup of strawberry yogurt ice cream, then guess what?
papa gave it to the daughther, then nat nat let papa have a spoon of the ice cream, then she started to enjoy her yummy delicious ice cream.
Excellent! What type of father we have nowadays? No present receive is not a big deal, worse still giving out present in return.

I hope the little nat nat would remember how much the papa love her forever and ever. It is always our prayer, she would find a husband who loves her that much when she grows up.

Why keep promise?

Last Sunday, I promised to bring natnat to park for swing at 5.30pm, the sky was still bright and clear. However due to 'dog house and chicken projects', we only reached the park after 7 pm, the sky was dark. Pat reconfirmed with me again whether we should go because there were so many mosquitoes. But, I was so ignorant, I just wanted to keep my promise, so I insisted every one go down for a while at least. Huh, just for a 5 minutes swinging, natnat was 'rewarded' with 36 red spots all over her neck, arms and legs by the mosquito troopers!

Till today, those bites are still swelling. My goodness, isn't the idea of keeping promise silly? So parents have to be wise in making decisions, otherwise the poor kids who trust you so very much are endangered by us.

Why kid lies?

Yesterday evening, I fetched my little than than after natnat as usual. Suddenly natnat made a 'lion' roar at me. I was mad, immediately I told her that she had to pull her ears three times when we reached home. She begged me not to punish her, then I asked her why did she act like that. She said, "I don't know." Then I told her to that I will add another 3 times pulling ears on her. Guess what? She said, "I know because you carry than than. Now, I don't need to pull ears, ok?"
SO KID LIES BECAUSE OF JEOLOUSY! She is jeolous of the younger brother who is only 5 months old!

This afternoon, before I left for babysitter's house, I asked her whether she has locked the door of the master bedroom (I am scared of lizards entering my room!). Again, she said 'No', then immediately she changed to 'Yes'. SO KID LIES BECAUSE OF LAZINESS! This time I didn't punish her anymore, in fact i didn't punish her too yesterday. I told her that I knew she lied and I forgave. Then I asked her to go upstair to close the door and I will give her a big kiss and hug after that. So she walked with her two stumpy legs slowly upstairs and came down steadily with the door closed properly. Of course I gave her my most sincerest kiss and hug, and she kissed and hugged me too.

She is only 3 years and 1 month, she has a long way to put her integrity right.

Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - Noon picnicers

Wondering when we first started to have our lunch in the car. Nat, the mama and the papa, enjoying the lunch box prepared by the mother every early morning, sitting in our 'cute' car, nearby the river side, with drinks and fruit (Ting Pek King's Mango). Wow! what a wonderful picture of picnickers.

Besides fulfilling our daily need, we also discovered a few things that we desperately need to do...Hai! all need money...have to postpone...

Let's talk about Ting Pek King's fruits stall. Mango, Honey oranges, Nanga, Cempedak...Really delicious...BUT beware of the pamelo...it taste like syrup, if I squeeze it into juice, I bet you would never know what the hell is that. Don't believe? try it yourself. Best time to shop at his stall at Satok is arround 9:00am, Saturday morning, when most of the fruits are still fresh (fly in from Bintulu).

Wednesday, July 12, 2006 - cap issues

Regarding the "extra" cap, Uncle Kang (also known as KoKo Kang) has his conclusion. The cap is belongs to the other tricycle which has been misplaced in the box of the tricycle that I bought...Oh Sh..! then who ever bought the other unit will only has 1 cap...poor guy...actually, without 1 cap doesn't has any safety impact but appearance only...we are all used to see cars without 1 wheel cap...Anyway, I don't think I will drive all the way to Parkson to return the 'extra' cap. Any volunteer???

Monday, July 10, 2006 - Tricycle

Nat got her dreamed tricycle from Parkson yesterday. She loves it very much. She brought it everywhere she went, upstair, downstair, kitchen...Poor YiYi, have to carry it upstair and downstair again and agian...

There was a 'cap' left over after the installation by her mother. The father can't figure out where should the cap belongs to...too...although he is a so call engineer (the tricycle has no engine). Hopefully the cap is the spare part provided by Fisher Price as claimed by her mum.

Nat is still learning how to control the tricycle...and most importantly, how to make it move as she wanted it to be...I think she prefer to be pushed instead of paddling.
