3June08 Singapore Trip - Journey to Zoo

What a long journey to Zooooooo!

Started from hotel around 11:30am. Took the MRT from Paya Lebar all the way to Jurong East interchange and took bus 927 to Singapore Zoological Park. Waited for almost 45 minutes at the bus station and the journey by bus took only 20 minutes. Met some 'friends' from Sibu on the bus.

We watched 2 shows at Zoo, the Elephant and Sea Lion. Nat had change to feed the elephant by herself, and of course, got wet by the elephant and sea lion's splashes!

We opt for shopping instead of going to Night Safari. Everyone was so tired after having KFC 'dinner'. We left the Zoo by bus to Ang Mo Ngio and took MRT to Orchard to continue our shopping spreeeeeeee. Bought some food (Sushi), Pa Zhangs, grilled Pork Ribs, and liu lian for supper in Hotel.

What A DAY!

2~6 June08 Singapore Trip - Disneyland

Disneyland in Singapore??? No...lah! But a cafe at Anchorpoint is decorated like mini disneyland. We went there for 'afternoon break' after visiting Ikea. Nat had a minie mouse ice-cream cake with her favorite lime juice and Than had a special disney banana set.

Double Decker

First time on a double decker! For Nat and Than, BT and myself. We were the only passengers on the bus at Sentosa...like cater a double decker bus...move to front and back and middle. The feeling was great.

What a way to buy sweets! Just get a bag and choose from the sweet dispenser that you like, weight and pay. Beware of 'over weight'...how to reduce when they are all mixed???
